Phase VI - Distribution System
The District’s engineering firm of Freese & Nichols is currently under contract to update the District’s proposed county-wide distribution system. The Distribution phase of the District’s plan required the passing of a bond election prior to implementing the system. The bond election was held on May 10, 2008 and passed with a vote of 142 for and 53 against. A draft of the proposed distribution system is below and also available for viewing in the offices of the Somervell County Water District. Construction of the system is projected to begin in 2010.
